Someone asked me if they could pick my brain, and it caught be off guard. Typically I’m the one asking others if I can pick their brain because they are so interesting and knowledgable in whatever area they are passionate about. This made me realize how much my passion for learning about textiles and design has grown and that I talk about it. A lot.
Everything inspires me and my brain has just been ON for a while now, almost like I’m running on another frequency. Have you ever been so overwhelmed with ideas that you feel like you can’t even function? Maybe it’s because it’s springtime. Or maybe it’s because I’m 30 and I care a bit less about what others think of me and where I “should” be in life based on societal expectations. Either way, it’s invigorating!
I finally updated my Spoonflower shop and ordered swatches. 13 prints are now available for sale for fabric and for gift wrap. I’m so stoked! http://www.spoonflower.com/profiles/marjorie_henderson I’ll be adding this to the Shop section of the blog.
Please check out rawartists.org/portland! I have been invited to participate in the RAWartists Sensory show in Portland. It will be at Holocene on 1001 SE Morrison, Portland OR. More information to come.
