Original pencil drawing with acrylic on paper by Marjorie Blume. Drawing measures about 10"x10", and is in a frame.
This drawing was inspired by my courageous neighbor. I wanted to portray a woman who hid on some days and flourished on others. She was always fighting with her abusive and controlling husband and battled with his family as well. She was able to flee with the help of a friend. I never saw her again, and her husband moved shortly after her departure.
